Hockey Australia Indoor

In February 2025, our Australian Indoor teams took on the world at the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup in Poreč, Croatia. Both the Men and Women competed fiercely against the best nations on the planet, showcasing the skill, resilience and attacking flair that defines Australian indoor hockey.

The international journey continued in December 2025 with Australia competing at the Nkosi Cup in Cape Town, a key opportunity for our national squads to test themselves against quality opposition as preparations build towards future global campaigns. In February 2026, Australian Indoor teams head to the United States for the prestigious Big Apple Indoor Hockey Tour, providing another valuable international platform to compete, connect and continue strengthening Australia’s presence on the world stage.

Back home, indoor hockey continues to grow at every level. Hockey Australia delivers National Indoor Championships across Under 14, Under 16, Under 18, Under 21, Open and Masters divisions. These events are a cornerstone of the pathway, bringing together the country’s best emerging athletes and experienced campaigners in a high performance environment that celebrates the depth of the game nationwide.
